e@syfile error : Source Code 4582 must not be less than 20 percent or greater than 80 percent of the sum of codes 3701, 3802, and 3816

Please assist with the following error:


e@syfile error : Source Code 4582 (4000.00) must not be less than 20 percent or greater than 80 percent of the sum of codes 3701, 3802, and 3816 (37500.00)
If I look at the tax screen for this indvidual the Taxable value of Travel is R4000 and in the tax (2021) column a value of R720 is displayed which is 18%

What should we do as the input on the earnings screen is correct.

    Thank you for making contact with us on the Sage City forum.

    I have found the following information to assist you with your query and this information is available on our Knowledge Base via this link Easyfile error: Source Code 4582. The split between the taxable and non-taxable portion can either be 80/20%. The 18% is the issue. Please access the link to make the adjustments to ensure that the values are split as 80/20and not as 82/18
