There are handful Sage X3 users that still requires to use their Safe X3 WAS in V12.

This feature is shipped standard without any extra cost with the system however the users might just want to make sure that the activity codes are active on the license when loading it.

This was used by the previous versions of X3 for the users to be able to develop and run web services.

If you already have Sage X3 running and cannot see the SAFE X3 WAS menu you can do the following:

Below are activity codes that may have an impact on the way the function operates therefore needs to be active to take advantage of this feature:

• AYT: Safe X3 WAS
• TCAYT: Safe X3 WAS (common data)

Launching a folder validation after activating this codes will be very crucial before configuring web services. 

Make sure that the Web server VT component is installed and well configured on X3 console.
