Mobile Automation Miscellaneous Receipt and Material Consumption Create button is greyed out and does not allow the user to select the Product or move to the next screen.

On the X3 Services log file, the following error was identified:

“ProductAbcClass: Invalid key value, 5”

“Error Product ABC Class Invalid key value, 5”

 Cause:

The problem was caused by the additional class increase in the number of Product ABC classes from the standard 4 (A, B, C, D) to 5 (A, B, C, D, FIVE) and ADC was defaulting to the fifth one which caused it to fail.

Resolution:

The field ABC class is not set to be customized. It is set to work with four values from A to D.

In the local menu 212 the 'Changeable' option is not selected, so this local menu should not be changed.

This is used as a selection criterion on the stock count lists. There is also a dedicated function for ABC class calculation where only these 4 values are considered:

Removing the non-standard class resolved the issue and now users are able to select the product on Mobile Automation Miscellaneous Receipt and Material Consumption and therefore the create button is also active.
