MRP Processing not generating work orders.
When using MRP processing and enterprise planning to generate suggestions for finished goods.
Only customer orders were generated for the finished goods and no work orders were generated.
- Create demand forecasts for finished goods.
- Check if stock exists for this product. No stock exists for this product.
Run MRP processing.
Checked suggestions generated from MRP. Only customer orders were generated.
No work orders were generated.
Upon investigation, we have picked that incorrect dates were selected on the Demand forecasts.
The start date & End date was set to end in June, but the expectation was to run MRP demand forecast for July hence no work orders were generated.
After changing the Demand forecast dates to run in July and MRP reference date to today's dates in July then running the MRP processing, work orders were generated successfully as expected.
