We are experiencing an issue where users are locking specifically during creation of a requisition. We have tested this across other areas of the system and the requisition area is problematic.

We had 13 odd users in the process of creating requisitions. The first user is creating the requisition without a problem, BUT it seems that this user still has a lock on the AVALNUM table in SQL Server. This means that all other users and all other areas in the system is locked out of the sequence number functionality in Sage.

We have looked at the posts regarding this on Sage City and have implemented the index changes on AVALNUM and Escalation setting on this table but does not seem to resolve the issue. It seems that the STD actions linked on the PSHSIG workflow is causing a MASSIVE time delay which might be causing the locking issue.

Any assistance will be HIGHLY appreciated as this is causing huge issues at client
