Sage 50 CA-Sage Drive

I have just started to use Sage drive to work between my desktop and my laptop.  Since starting Sage Drive, I have to log into SAGE drive everytime instead of just being able to work on my desktop with my local files.  Also, there are times when I have to work on my laptop offfline and transfer the date between the desktop and the laptop via USB but that no longer works.  When I transfer the desktop file onto the laptop it wont let me access the data file.  I don't have this problem with companies that I have not initiated SAGE drive on.  On the non-SAGE Drive companies, I can transfer the info via USB and access it no problem.

Is there a way to temporarily disable sage drive so that I can transfer data via usb and then work on that company,  and then later, when I have online access, the laptop and end desktop can sync?

Also, if my accountant doesn't have Sage Drive enabled,  I need to be able to transfer the data file to him via USB and use it on his Sage 50 without SAGE Drive issues.

HELP!

The main advantage to Sage Drive is invite different user from different location to work on same file and sync it, it seems doesn't really fit you purpose.

If you are using the same Sage ID, you should able to share on desktop, and download on laptop, and work. ( USB shouldn't be needed at this point.

As for Accountant access, they need Sage ID to access Sage drive through your invite. or you have to un-share it and send a normal copy.
