Sage 50 CA-Sage Drive

I have just started to use Sage drive to work between my desktop and my laptop.  Since starting Sage Drive, I have to log into SAGE drive everytime instead of just being able to work on my desktop with my local files.  Also, there are times when I have to work on my laptop offfline and transfer the date between the desktop and the laptop via USB but that no longer works.  When I transfer the desktop file onto the laptop it wont let me access the data file.  I don't have this problem with companies that I have not initiated SAGE drive on.  On the non-SAGE Drive companies, I can transfer the info via USB and access it no problem.

Is there a way to temporarily disable sage drive so that I can transfer data via usb and then work on that company,  and then later, when I have online access, the laptop and end desktop can sync?

Also, if my accountant doesn't have Sage Drive enabled,  I need to be able to transfer the data file to him via USB and use it on his Sage 50 without SAGE Drive issues.

HELP!

If you connect to sage drive, you will not be able to use the network copy as they will be locked until you re-sync the network copy with sage drive, it is not a multi user solution.  I used sage drive with my network and found out the hard way, if you need multi user access then I would look at some of the remote control programs like "gotomyPC".  I found that with sage drive only one user can access the data at a time.

Perhaps I did not have it configured correctly, if so then I would like to hear from other users!

is correct, Sage Drive is single user only, 2nd user and on are in read only mode.  Unless, you only share the file on Sage Drive when you out of office (or you only have one user access Sage 50 a time) otherwise, not sure if is efficient.
