Job Category in Payroll

Question

Hi 
 I logged in Sage 50 as an administrator and in single user mode. I have closed all other Sage windows but still I cannot create job categories in Payroll tab in Settings. Why? 
 I am able to create additional income, deductions etc. but not job categories.

I haven't tried to set up Job Categories in years so I haven't tried but I have a quick question. 
 You say you have logged into the file as "AN" instead of "THE" administrator. There is only one, so are you using the username sysadmin? 
 If you are not using sysadmin, try that username and see if it works.
