With no response from Sage education, I thought I would ask here.
Does anyone know why I am unable to write cheques or adjust cheques in my version? I can use the payroll run journal without any issue, but all other options are greyed out (except find paycheque).
Any advice would be great:)

Just tested accessing the Paycheques window in the Sage 50 CA 2021 Student Version and have access:
Hopefully you checked that you were logged in as the default user. The default sysadmin user, has full access to all modules enabled.
If the payroll module is missing from your view entirely, then check Setup > User Preferences > View's Pages section.
