Remote access - password error

Hi,

I am trying to open a shared company file and my password isn't working. It is the same password that I use for the other shared companies.

Is there a way to unshare, reset my password or even save this company with a new name? I really need to get into this company to make entries.

    Thanks for reaching out. Please see this article on how to reset a Sage account email address password.

    Option 3 for using Remote Data Access in 2020.2+, has the steps below:

    1. On the Welcome screen go to "Connect to a Shared Company"
    2. Enter the Sage account email address
    3. Click Forgot Password
    4. Enter the Sage account email address and the security question
    5. Check the email for the code
      • Note: Do not close out of the browser where it's asking for the code. There is no hyperlink/url in the email. If you close or leave the page you have to start the
    6. process over
    7. Copy the code from the Email
    8. Enter Code
    9. Enter Password
    10. Enter Confirm Password
