IF ANYONE HAS EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING A REPONS EWOULD BE APPRECIATED.

For non Cloud 5 user version of Sage 50 getting pop message "Your Sage 50 cloud experience has changed. Connect this company to your email address to:" with 2 button options, "Open in read-only" and "Get started".  No notice was given regarding this pop up message.  The user is locked at that point unless they respond. Contacted support and got several people have gotten confused or incomplete response.  Based  on one of the responses afraid to click on the "Get started" button.  The Canadian responder recommended we should respond with the administrator. Our administrator is on vacation and we don't have the password. Wondering if we can respond with an induvial company user?  Another supporter said a similar problem was reported and the user still had problems after doing the Get started option.  No definite answer was given to the situation.

    Hi Stanley,

The message indicates that the version of Sage 50 you have has our cloud-connected capabilities, such as Bank Feeds, Remote Data Access, and Payment Acceptance. Onboarding is a one-time (per company) process that allows for a safer, more secure experience along with the benefits of cloud-connected services. Onboarding does not mean that your data is being shared, or uploaded to the cloud.

In order to onboard, you will need to log in to the sysadmin account in single-user mode. Once the sys-admin has onboarded in single-user mode the prompting should go away. Please review this Sage Knowledgebase article for additional information.

Thank you Kathleenf,  the article describes my problem exactly. Unfortunately I ran into a problem with the first instruction.

"Close Sage 50 and re-open as sysadmin in single user mode.", since I am the tech and only did the install I don't know what  open in single user mode is. I opened our version of Sage 50 and the options are  - Open an existing company,  - Connect to a shared company,  -Create a new company,        Other Tasks  > Explore a sample company, > Convert from another  accounting company.  We have  the 2023 version for only 5 users and I don't think we use the cloud.  I have contacted Sage at least 4 times and communicating with them thru the phone and chat has been a problem. I get told that I have the Canadian version and the told by Canadian support that I have to contact the US.
