Trouble with ending a shared company

Hello,

I'm really struggling with setting up a shared company. I can't share my most recent file to work on remotely because a company is already being shared. I have searched for this file, but it is nowhere to be seen. It isn't in my list of recent companies because it was shared approximately 2 years ago by someone else. I can't even download this old shared file onto another computer. I receive the error/pop-up attached below:

Is there a way to stop sharing a company without access to its actual file?

If this option is completely hopeless, would I be able to physically move my current company via a hard drive?

when the company is already shared anything entered is also shared.

there has been an update in the last week or so and you will need to update the system to run properly. Someone has posted the link to the update. But shortcut if you have different companies using sage software you can update one and it will cross over for the other as well.

to answer if you can stop sharing without access the answer is no.

Dylan: On your new(er) version of the company file change the name of the file. Do a save as with modifying the name. Old - ABC Company New - ABC 2023 Then try to save the new file ABC 2023. I have had this work in the past.
