Adding Members Information

I am having issues with adding members information.  I can do the quick add where I just add their name and that stays, but every time I try add any more information (address, email, etc) I get a blank screen of the program freezes on me.

    Hi Devan:

in your original post you mentioned 'members'. Are you a charity? what module are you adding the members' information? which version of Sage 50 are you using? 202x.x? Pro or Premium? I might be able to help you.

Yes, we are not-for-profit society. we are using Sage 50 Premium Accounting Release 2024.0. I have tried adding in the members module as well as the Sales and Report Centre

You would be using the Customers Ledger and this could be renamed to Members. The required information is the same.

The Customers, Sales and Report Centre are all available when the initial installation is completed. If these are not showing, from the Home Window go to Setup > User Preferences > View. At this point you can show which modules you wish to show for this user. Each User could have their own unique set of modules showing.

Good morning, i have done that several times to no success. the issue that i get is when i click to open the members module nothing happens. when i go to the windows task bar and hover over the sage icon, i can see a second blank window has open but when i click on that window nothing happens.

Is it possible you have used a double or triple screen recently when opening Sage 50? If so this second window that you can see on the Task Bar might be out on the 'phantom second screen.' Put your cursor over the second window when you have it showing from clicking on the Task Bar. Right Click and a menu should open with Move. The position of this menu will give you a clue as to where your Window is hiding. if the menu is near the right side of the screen use the left arrow and click a number of times to see if the window shows up. All four arrow keys will move the missing window in the direction of the arrows and you are trying to get it towards the centre of your screen. Once it becomes visible grab the screen and move it to the position you want.
