can't open sage 50

Dear fellow Sage 50 users,

I can no longer open Sage 50 Pro?

The problem seems to be related to the Transaction Manager not running.

The Data Verification Log is as follows:

I've been using the probram for almost 30 years and have never encountered such a problem.

Now, I can no longer open Sage 50 Pro on my system, so I can't view any of my records!

    Hi Jerry: You didn't indicate which version of Sage 50 you are using. If you have just upgraded from an earlier version to 2024.1 I would suggest contacting Sage Support as this could have been caused when converting the data from your old version to the new version. You may just need the database to be rebuilt which can be done with a remote connection to Sage Support.

    Thanks so much for your response.

    I'm using Sage 50 Pro for 2024 (Canadian Edition).

    I called Sage Support on the weekend and they told me my subscription doesn't include a fix for that.  It would cost me a few thousand dollars for a plan which includes such support...all this in addition to the almost $700 paid for the program each year.

    Very disappointing!
