Journal entry in incorrect year

Hi there, 
 Not sure how to handle this journal entry. I did a recall recurring transaction journal entry for a reverse revenue accrual. This particular recurring transaction hadn't been used since 2022. I had created the entry and in error put Oct 3.2022 instead of Oct 3.2023. I tried to go into Company setup and unticked the Do not allow transactions dated before and created a reverse entry for this dated Oct 3.2022. Unfortunately, it doesn't allow me to post before 2023. Is there away around this?

Hi Calgarygal , Thanks for reaching out. It sounds like you've encountered an issue with transaction dates due to the system settings not allowing transactions before a specific date. 
 It's important to note that Sage 50 allows adjustments to transactions only within the current and previous fiscal years. If you've already rolled over to a new fiscal year, transactions from the year before the previous one might not be accessible unless restored from a backup. For entries outside this range, a CPA's advice might be necessary.
