As you can't import a sales order into Sage then I think the only way this would work is if the webshop was able to add the order to sage directly via some sort of app which gets the data from online and then writes it to Sage.

Might be worth asking the webshop support unless anyone else can think of anything?

If you are able to get a csv file from the webshop portal, you may be able to use Adept Tools Sales Order CSV tool to import into Sage.  I haven't used this particular tool but have used the Sales Invoice and Transaction importers from Adept, which are excellent.

I use Adept to import orders as invoices from our website. Just needs a CSV export from the web-shop. You will need a way to manually flag completed orders for export. Depends what platform you are using for your webshop as to how you do it.

**EDIT Be aware there is no data 'mapping' with Adept invoice import, so the CSV export file will have to conform to their format. This will need the help of a developer I imagine, if you are not a programmer.

Thank you Iain. We use WordPress/Woocommerce for the website but do have some IT help with this so will speak to them. On a minor point, do all users need to be out of Sage in order to import the CSV?

No it has its own user-name, that doesn't use up one of your licence users. No-one has to log out.

What I found really helpful was this app called Storehub.io, it sets up really easily and allows for pretty much most flexibilities that one may need when connecting Sage 50 to your eCommerce store, they offer eCommerce integration options like WooCommerce and Shopify etc.

I think they also have a B2B platform which caters for complex pricing, multi-warehousing and sales reps. There's a lot more to it, but definitely take a look at what they offer: www.storehub.io.

They've got a reseller program as well, which is cool for us developers/designers who are referring customers to them.
