That is the reason. When running the report it should be for a single bank account and it has to be in balance for checks to clear

How do we correct this? 

We know what the issue is, apparently that account had not been reconciled with the correct ending balance for quite some time, but the GL is correct, and it matches to the current bank balance.

Why are you making journal entries to try to balance? Does the GL match the bank statement?

It's a foreign currency account, but our system is in dollars.  We convert into dollars, but the balance, whether there are transactions on the account or not, fluctuates every month because of the exchange rate. Those entries are the currency differences. The differences weren't done for a few months, but we were trying to correct that with this last statement.

If GL matches bank statement then go into Bank Rec and Bank Code Maintenance and change the amount.   Did you know that DSD has a multi currency enhancement.

I do not know what DSD is, could you provide more information?

DSD is a 3rd party developer who has enhancements for Sage 100.

Speaking of bank reconciliations, I am brand new to a company who utilizes Sage (I've never worked with it at all) and they are very behind on their accounting, how can I print the last bank reconciliations that were completed so I can even find a starting point?  Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.
