Customer Number Change must be upgraded, but how?

When attempting a Customer Number Change as part of the day-end process the day after upgrading Sage 300 - 2022's Payroll module to version 8, we encountered the following error:

Error: Newer version of US Payroll was detected. Customer Number Change must be upgraded! Please contact your dealer or Sage Software for more information.

We have been unable to locate information on how to upgrade the Customer Number Change. How do we do this?

    Hello Ken, 

    I tested and received the same error.. the problem is in the Compatibilty section of the SR.ini file locagted in the SR69A program folder.. 

    Currently it shows US and CP payroll as V7.4 which doesn't exist.

    All you have to do is edit this file in Notepad and chagne the 74 to 80 and save it.

    Development is aware of it and it will be fixed in the upcoming Product Updates.
