purchase order - email history

Hi
New to Sage300 and finding me way around.

Ive inquired with our service partner regarding emailing directly from Sage300 however was told that the standard email feature doesnt retain history of emails sent. This obviously is of no use as you have no evidence of correspondence.

Please can someone advise if there is a way around this besides for purchasing a module to help control this.

we are a small organisation and spending a crazy amount on a module to enable email logging is not feasible
