purchase order - email history

Hi
New to Sage300 and finding me way around.

Ive inquired with our service partner regarding emailing directly from Sage300 however was told that the standard email feature doesnt retain history of emails sent. This obviously is of no use as you have no evidence of correspondence.

Please can someone advise if there is a way around this besides for purchasing a module to help control this.

we are a small organisation and spending a crazy amount on a module to enable email logging is not feasible

    its currently not setup but when i asked the sage partner, they said it doesn't keep a history so its not worthwhile setting it up... BUT they can offer me a module for x amount which can manage all my email requirements...

    its the first time working with Sage300, on Syspro it sent via outlook and it maintained a history so if it can be setup to send via outlook it should also work with the same logic i would think....
