Sage 300 security propagating to all companies.

SOLVED

Hello Everyone,

We just got done upgrading our Sage 300 2017 installation to Sage 300 2022.

Our Sage has 3 different companies running off the same SQL server.

I have noticed since the update when I make a change to any Security Group in Company A it shows the normal "propagating Table [CSSEC]" message but now it runs through this 4 times. One for each company and the system database.

After the propagating is done Company B and C now also have the newly updated Security Group change.

I know this didn't happen before our upgrade, does anyone know if there is a new setting somewhere to disable this?

No it is a real pain in the butt, at a client with over 20 databases, it takes forever.   There should be a propagate function so that only once you finish changing all groups and close the icon that it applies then.  It has added absolutely hours to a simple function.
