In my testing, after installing and activating the Jan 1st update, each employee had the following default Dental Benefits settings:

Would you be able to reach out to customer support and open a support ticket as we need to investigate this further.. the Error Message is indicating that there underlying program files are missing.. Can you confirm if you are running Client/Server or full products locally?  if so, can you confirm that each workstation that has program files has the Payroll Update installed?

I'll create a ticket. Full install of 2024.0 with payroll update installed and activated.

This field is to store what type of Dental Plan offered by the employer. No matter the employee use it or not. You can use import/export to update this field if the employer does offer different plan for certain employees.

I know what it's for. I was wondering if there was a way to update multiple employees at once through Sage functionality. If export/import is the only way, then that answers the question.

Did some more testing.. the only way to replicate the error only occurs if you process a payroll with 2023 dates which shouldn't be done anyways because the tax update is only for 2024 and beyond.. can you confirm that the error does not occur when processing with a Check Date, and period end date dated in 2024?

Good call. Tested a January 2024 pay date with no errors. Whew.

By Pay date, I was wondering if the Run date, PP end date and Cheque date had to all be 2024 ?

Just following up on this.  Due to timing, a lot of our clients will have the run date and or pay period end date in December but the cheque date in January.  So not all 3 dates will be in 2024.  This was not an issue before, will Sage be releasing a fix?

further testing.. it is just Cheque Date that is determining the issue.. as long as the Cheque Date is in 2024, the error will not occur.

We are working on that "could not load string = 10049" issue. It is just an error message that pops up but should not be. Nothing wrong with the payroll calculation no matter you pick Run date, Period end date or Cheque date. It works the same as before.

Yes, the run date and pay period date can be December. Just the cheque date needs to be in January. Just tested.

Applied the hotfix to CT80B and still getting this error if I have a 2023 cheque date

Hi Darren, I can't replicate with the hot fix in place.. can you confirm the Last modified data of the CTTTCX.DLL and make sure it's copied to the "programs folder\CT80B folder..
