What version did you upgrade from?  Anything older than 6 years old needs to be upgraded to run with Sage 50 2020. www.bestbusinessstrategies.com/Sage50dataupgrade

The upgrade was from the 2019 version.

I had high hopes for that one.. but it didn't correct the issue. I did locate the Windows error log, but it's not much help:
