Do checks sent via electronic bill pay include my account and routing number?

SOLVED

In the past, I have had checks stolen from a mailbox.  The thief drew up new counterfeit checks using my account and routing number from the checks.  I would like to avoid sharing my banking details every time I drop a check in the mailbox.  But I'm unclear if the checks mailed from electronic bill pay (not the ACH payments- the actual hard checks) will still share my banking information, or if they will be more like money orders.  I will have to upgrade to a newer version of Peachtree / Sage to get this feature and it is basically the only reason I am considering an upgrade.

I had someone make up their own check, scribble all over it, sign my name and my bank still processed it.  It didn't even have my signature on it!

It is a sign of times.  I would suggest getting some High Security Checks and using those.  You can also subscribe to a check service.   Check Fraud protection.  Not very expensive.   $35.00 on  1,000 checks.

We have a check sale going on through 6/30/20.  You get 20% off and free shipping.  We sell 1000  regular checks for only $137.60, 1000 High Security Checks  are only $159.20.

We can add on the Check Fraud protection for you too.
