Proper way to install and upgrade Sage on a new workstation.

Hey we are moving our current server install of Sage 50 to a new computer and at the same time upgrade from 2020 to 2021. Is there an appropriate way to go about this process. I will also have 5 workstations that will need to be upgrade to 2021 and then pointed to the new server.

    Just make a backup (File menu > Backup) of your data. Install version 20201 like normal on the new server, then restore your backup. It will tell you the data needs to be converted. Just follow the prompts and let it convert.

    At the workstations, install like you normally would by navigating to \\ServerName\PeachtreeInstaller2021 and setup.exe or ClientInstall.bat.
