Sage 50 Pro Accounting 2022 shutting down after login following Windows update

SUGGESTED

I am running desktop Pro Accounting 2022. All was good until today when Windows updated to 2H12 (OS Build 19044.1806). Now Sage loads, I enter the password, and then it closes. I tried restoring a backup to a new company. It restores, I login, and then it closes.

I backup every day so I went through and restored backups to a new company until I found one where the program would not close after login. A backup from June 17th did not cause the program to close. I thought it was odd that all those backups were doing the same thing, so I went back and looked at the Windows update history. An update was done on the 17th after I did the backup, so I am thinking that Windows update messed with something since all backups from June 18th forward restored and then the program closed after I logged in.

I had no reason to restore any backup from June 17th to July 1st so I was not aware of any problems with the backups until now. Through the years I have back upped and restored between my main computer and a laptop with no issues, so I had no reason to periodically test a backup.

Is this a Windows issue or is something else going on with my software or company data? Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix the issue? I would rather not have to re-enter 2 weeks of work. Any help would be much appreciated.

We can open up the backup from few weeks ago on each machine. Sage is closed on all the other machines when this is done.

Also, since 2003 I have had a perpetual 1 user license for various versions of Peachtree/Sage. I typically use a machine at our office and backup. Then when I am home I restore the backup to a laptop. This has never failed. There are never 2 copies of the software running at a time. I am the only person that uses it.
