Upgrade won't open

Upgraded to 2023 and now Sage will not open.  How do I fix this?

    Thanks for reaching out. Have you tried restarting your computer to install any pending Windows updates? 

    The article: Error: "Failed to launch.." after downloading suggests the below as well:

    1. Right-click on the downloaded file and select Run as Admin or Run as Administrator
    2. Verify that you can now extract the installation files

    We had the exact same problem a month ago, the upgrade ran fine, but trying to start Sage resulted in NO login screen ever appearing for Sage. After 4 hours on the phone with support, we were able to back out and re-install 2022. Now I am seeing mention here in the forums that 2022 will only be supported until March?? Support seemed to think that it was related to the sizes of the company files, which others are having trouble with, but no mention of any solution has been forthcoming.

    Sadly, you will most likely have to remove 2023 and re-install 2022 to be functional again, for as long as that is supported. Sage's silence on this matter, given the number of people with issues with the 2023 version, is very troubling.
