Sage 2023 Update Failure and Repair

SUGGESTED

I am just checking to see if there is any recent good news on trying the update again?  Is anyone still experiencing the debilitating lack of function of the 2023 version?  I don't want to go through another update before I should, as it is costly to re-load this if it is still not working.

I am still in disagreement with Sage on their discontinuance of the 2022 version when it works and the 2023 is still fraught with issues. If Sage people are actually listening to these messages, be advised that we are real companies and people that are having real issues, not customers only identifiable by their customer number.  You should not move on to the next version just because it is your tradition.  You should only move when it works. I reiterate that your moves cost us money and time if not done well.

I look forward to hearing back from anyone with their current status and if you feel things have Improved or not.

Yeah, I've just joined to also find out if the water is still too cold to jump in for the 2023 version.
My company has already gotten burned by the Upgrade, install - stops working correctly, uninstall reinstall on multiple workstations thing. It's terrible.

They may be ending support but I feel like if the software is working fine for 2022 why not just wait some more? Probably gonna try it out again with the "Product and Services" on our server to see if it's still working too slow.

    Here here,

Thankfully we are not using any of the "online/cloud" services, dodged those bullets long time ago.

We don't need those Tax updates either, so we can stay on 2022 until 2023 is completed, maybe right before 2024 is released for Community QA Testing.

No need to spend hours uninstalling 2022 > installing 2023 > uninstalling 2023 > reinstalling 2022 and hopefully activating > on 30+ workstations over the weekend.

Hopefully, our 2022 S/N # won't mysteriously stop being valid and we can move along until a lone Sage outsourced developer becomes a hero and does look at the root cause and pushes a fix without telling anyone, no manager would want peachw.exe to be actually useful for paying customers...

BTW future hero developer, please also look at, and fix the item id lists on SO/PO/Invoice/Inventory and Assembly adjustment screens. For some reason, someone had the bright idea of querying the database on every keystroke. Whomever thought this was great, never tested it on a database with more than a few hundred inventory items. Testing Sage with the demo gardening company sure makes Sage look snappy = ship it!. JFYI, it takes a solid second per character to pull up a stock item id. Weirdly enough, this list behaves normally on the maintain inventory items, so whats up with that?

Anyhow, if you can, stay away from the "upgrade", the only thing that was "upgraded" was the yearly subscription and the (premium diamond gold) customer support service fees, as well as the shareholders bonuses. Profit!

Works on my machine stamps by some Sage reps here should at least also list their environment specs. I'd be shocked if the only thing running on those VMs are Sage and a some version of office, if that.

    Thank you all.
