2024 upgrade / not opening

SOLVED

Downloaded Sage 50 2024, it was successful download and converted the database,  reshared  to remote access.  Even shows company is shared in remote data access as 2024 version. I enter credentials and nothing happens. Database does not open.  Or information does not appear on screen.

If I try again it says my ID is already in use/max licenses used.

    Thank you for your patience. I'm pleased to inform you that after reviewing the support ticket notes, it appears that your issue with Sage 50 2024 has been successfully resolved by our support team.

    It seems that the problem was with the syspref.dat file. After deleting the .cosess files and the DDFs, and consulting with our Level 2 support team, the steps taken included restoring to the 2023 version to run tests and conducting integrity checks. Eventually, renaming the syspref.dat in your test company proved effective, and applying the same solution to the actual company resolved the issue.
