The first thing I would try is simply to restart your computer. If Sage 50 still won't open, try installing 2024 again. The installer will see that you already have v2024 and ask if you want to remove or repair. Choose the option to repair.

If it still doesn't work, download the Sage 50 database repair utility from https://us-kb.sage.com/portal/app/portlets/results/viewsolution.jsp?solutionid=221924160112100&page=1&position=1&q=database%20repair%20utility. Run the utility. Then run the option to remove Actian Zen. When that finishes, run the option to install Actian Zen. When it finishes, close the repair utility and open Sage 50.

That took care of my problem.  Thank you very much!  I had to uninstall then reinstall Actian.
