If you are referring to SYSCOST entries, those are caused by selling something that you don't have, and then when the Inventory is replenished, the system makes an adjustment to bring the Cost of Sales value for the sale up, or down, to what the true Cost is vs what was used at the time of sale. If you are referring to the Cost of Sales entry that takes place any time there is a sale made, that is an automated entry that takes place for any Inventory Item set up in Sage 50 (other than Description Only, Charge Items, and Activity Items), that records the cost related to the sale. For Service Items, Non-Stock Items, and Labor Items, this cost is static, meaning that it comes from the Maintain Inventory Items screen, as whatever cost you last chose to update that Item ID with. For Stock Items and Assembly Items, as well as Serialized Items, the cost comes from the costing buckets that your purchases were recorded to. You cannot stop this entry from occurring, but you can negate the entry (if you record your purchases directly to Cost of Sales at the time of purchase) by changing the G/L Accounts on the Maintain Inventory Items screen for Inventory and Cost of Sales to be the same.

As for changing your business location (address), you would do that in Maintain Company Information.
