I am trying to enter a new general ledger account for a loan. I need to enter a beginning balance for the loan. When I try clicking on "Account Beginning Balance", it wants me to "Select period to enter Prior Year Adjustments". I do not want to do that. This is a new company with no prior years. How do I enter the beginning balance?
