5-2-2 Default overime over 40 hrs per week

I have always calculated OT manually.  Now I see that under options, you can check the box so the system will do this.

So, this week, i did that, and when i look at the timesheets (after final calcuations) it doesn't show any of the hours being moved into OT.

How exactly, do I get this to work?

    Circling back to this  . . . what if the over 40 occurs within the day that gets you to 40; for instance a person works 10 hours each day Mon - Wed and then on Thurs works 12, thereby giving him 2 hour OT. It seems when I tried it that it will take the 12 hours at straight time, so it's as if the feature only works if all the overtime was on a separate day from the first 40 hours. Am I missing something on this?

    It will only default to Overtime if the previously entered timecard lines total 40 or more hours at the time you are entering the new line. So in your example, you have to enter 1 line for 10 hours (defaults to Regular), and a second line for 2 hours, which will then default to Overtime.
