Thanks  for this update Whitney, just moved this post as it looks like this issue is for Sage 100 Contractor. I've also forwarded the support team your comments to see if they can advise further. See that support did try to help with your initial questions around "no matching records found" September 8th for support ticket ending 800xxxxx354. Will update you with any news.

Hi Whitney. Unfortunately, there is not a way to do this in the program other than copy/void/paste. We do have tools to change the cash posting account, the posting period, and the Job. You may want to submit a product idea (or vote on existing  idea) for an option to change the cost code as well. You can get to the idea board by clicking on the Home & Resources tab at the top and selecting Submit Product Idea.

You can drill into the the job cost record and change it there, but make on note on the payroll record that you changed the cost code on line #xx on the job cost record. 

Note: When you change the cost code on a job cost record related to AP it changes it on the job cost screen of the AP, but not in payroll
