Hi Jenna. What exactly are you seeing that is calculating incorrectly for CPP?  Can you provide an example? And I assume you have installed the year-end update version 25.3.72.

The CPP is calculating without the exemption. Gross pay = 2500 so the CPP should be 2500 - (3500/26 pays biweekly) *0.0595 so should be 140.74, Sage is showing 148.75 UNLESS I change the year back to 2023.

Yes we have installed the update (i have checked in 5 different environments) and yes we have closed the year in payroll. 

If you compare the payroll to PDOC then it further reinforces that error

it is happening with both scenarios; i haven't seem a single payroll that has calculate the CPP payroll correctly with a 2024 pay day yet

Ok, thank you for the info. I will test this out when I get in tomorrow. We did not see this issue during our pre-release testing.

I didn't notice it when i tested one last week, but that's because it had a 2023 date. please feel free to reach out directly if you need additional details, I have a lot of experience with S100C in canada, payroll in general, etc. and am also a CPA.

We found the issue and are working on a fix. We'll make a post on  the Sage 100 Contractor Announcements board as soon as it's available. Thanks for letting us know about this.

The similar error now in Audit Report. When one employee has few pay cheque for the same pay period, CPP is not computed correctly.
