Rebecca, in the 12-2 screen where you make inventory adjustments, you have always had to use a source or destination. Since you want to increase inventory, you would use the destination field which is the location where they are going (warehouse, etc.). Thanks for your reply, I called on Monday what we figured out is that the source field was set up as a required field.  We had to hit F7 and uncheck the required field and save, it then let me save my entry.
