The Check Activity with Detail report (PR-Reports-Pay Period Process menu) is our go to report. You can use it to validate deductions, fringes, taxes, and pays. 

Thank you. I actually do use that report. But what I am trying to accomplish is to crete a new report that I can select deduction and fringe types with grand total in order to reconcile monthly statements.

You can either write multiple ASUM formulas so the Check Activity with Detail provides you with Grand Totals by Type/ID, or you can use Crystal Reports with a UNION Function to join the deduction and fringes.  I have written both types of reports for customers, however I would suggest the Crystal Reports route as the Check Activity with Detail has much information that is extraneous to the reconciliation you are trying to perform.

There is a modified version of the PR check activity report attached to KB article 28034 in the Sage Knowledgebase. The report will prompt for up tive Pay IDs, Deduct IDs and Fringe IDs to produce REPORT TOTALS. There are also instructions included in the design notes that may help you build a report on your own to suite your needs.

Thank you Denise. I've found the report and it can help me with the monthly grand totals. Eventually, I have to create a crystal report to get the information as I need it. But this report helps me achive what i need now. Thank you
