How do you Display group and phase totals without collapsing the estimate?

Sounds like you're using the Spreadsheet report. When you click the Prefill from Spreadsheet button it should show the totals that you have on the spreadsheet (estimate). Does the Estimate show those 'Overline Totals'? My hunch is that you haven't turned on Overlines for the estimate, and thus when you click prefill from ss, the report isn't showing them either.

To my knowledge, with the pre-fill doesn't do this... that the best that I know that told you.

Here is my estimate View. I have a total for Level 1, Level 2, Level 3. This is basically how I want the report to look.

Ok, so it looks like your 2nd screen shot is the closest you're going to get. You do have the Totals for each Level. The only difference is that on your 'monitor' the Total for Substructure is at the top of the list of Substructure lines, and in the report that Total will be at the bottom of the Substructure lines, etc. for each Level..

If you really need the Total for each Level to be at the top of the list, like on your monitor/estimate view, then you'll want to use a Crystal report for something like that.

Hmm. Sounds Crazy I can look at the estimate exactly the way I want it printed, I can export it this way as well but I cant print from a report. We normally export to excel. I thought for sure there was just something I was doing wrong. Uniformat is always shown this way wonder what others are doing?
