Sage Estimating Hourly Productivity

SOLVED

I am using the means integrator, how do I get the estimate to show hours for the tasks? Example: the estimate says the item will cost $6.35/cy how do i get it to show how many cubic yards per hour without doing a bunch of converting? I add all the tasks and go to the totals page and the hours are blank, I generate a crew report and its all blank. Please help

Based on what you described it appears you chose the 'unit price' option when you went through the Means Integrator to create your database.  On the Select Options screen in Means Integrator you have the options to price the database by Unit Price, Hourly or Crew.  The software defaults to Unit Price. The Select Options screen is, I believe, the 5 screen in the Means Integrator wizard.  I don't know if you can go through the wizard and change it, or if you will need to create a new database, but if you have to create a new database that can be done through Means Integrator also.

Gary, thank you for your response. This is exactly what had happened. I did go through the Means Integrator to create a new database but the issue was deeper than that and I had to contact Sage for help. I created a new database, selected crew and hours each time and I would get one, two or both issues on the newly created database. When selecting hours or crews I wouldn't get any rate tables or items in my database. If I got items in the database there were no crews and no rate tables. Sage support was able to resolve the issue. They created a new database externally and ensured it was reporting in hours with rate tables, items, and crews then sent it to me and called back to make sure it operated correctly.
