Missing time slips for an entire year

SOLVED

Hi ,

For some reason I have lost all the time-slips from May 2019 to February 2020. Somebody knows some way to recover this information?

Thanks so much in advance,

TImeslips doesn't "delete" slips. Unless someone did a deletion or a purge, they are still there. There is an audit trail in Timeslips that can show slips deleted, if you have it set up. The report for the audit trail is under reports > other in most versions of Timeslips.

    1. I would first check for filters that might be causing then not to be seen

    2. Run database verification - look for errors to see if there is data damage

    3. If they were deleted or purged and archived they can be imported back in from the archive

    4. If no archive and you have a backup you can export them from the backup and import them into the current database.

    SUGGESTED

, as @Caren2 says, Timeslips does not spontaneously delete slips.  That would be highly unusual. So take a deep breath, they are probably there, but something is 'hiding' them from you.

First thing is to check for a filter.   Not sure where you are looking for these.  Are you trying to run a bill?  Or just pull them up in List View?

    What version of Timeslips?

    Hi Nancy,

Thanks so much for your reply. I am just pull them up in List View. Reports/ Slip Listing, with a Date Range from April 2019 to April 2020, but It only appears 10 time slips posted in the last two weeks.

I run the Trail Report and also database verification, but still nothing.

    Thanks so much guys.

Karla, did your IT folks move Timeslips recently or do anything to make it available to you remotely?
