'missing' payments on the invoices

Question

Hi - for some unidentified reason, an amount paid, for some reason didn't automatically show up on the bill. I was able to add it in the revision process, but it still defaults to 'ignoring' the payment otherwise. Any ideas? It was all applied in the payment screen... thank you!! Kimberly

Please clear the bill completely. If a bill is in revision stage, only transactions on that revision bill will be included in the re-creation of the bill. If the payment is not included, before printing the bill click the "options" button and make sure that the option to "A/R transactions obey the slip date range filter" is not checked. Agree with Terry on revision stage. When you go back to run the bill check your options. There are two that pertain to payments - AR obeys date range and one about unapplied payments. One of these is likely why the payment didn&rsquo;t get included the first time.
