MRP Replanning Analysis - What does "Advance" mean?

I feel like this is a stupid question. What does it mean when the MRP message says "Advance"?

I believe it means "move the order date CLOSER- you need this SOONER" but I just want to be sure.

Yes you need it sooner so you should set the procurement date earlier.
