HTTPS:// Sage x3 V11 opening web links

I am wondering if there are any other sites trying to run any web links from within Sage X3  V11 that  is running through secured https.

To test it I used just a simple link to Wikipedia and it fails

When using the internal IP address to access X3 the screen looks like this

And all we get when we use the external HTPPS link  is a blank page.

Do other partners not secure their sites with https://  o

thanks

    Stacey,

I have not tested this specific case myself, but I suspect that you are running into web browser security and getting protected against clickjacking. In similar cases, I have found it helpful to use Google Chrome developer tools (F12) to see the messages related to what is blocked within the browser. There are many topics online related to messages with things like disabling CORS.

However; I might suggest first that you review the Sage X3 online help topic under Platform - Security. You will probably want to make an adjustment to your nodelocal.js.

As another example in our knowledgebase (https://support.na.sage.com/) you can review the article KB ID 89439 ("Error: error" when an external link (SEI) is used in an X3 dashboard.

    Hi

We have tried all this and it does not work.  It appears to be a new issue in V11 Sage X3.

We are very keen for a resolution as the problem is not limited to SEI as I have indicated in my post.

    Thanks
