You need to link the table that contains the price to the screen.
Do you know how I can go about doing that. Also, I open to doing SQL query. I just need the code and I can set it up in the SQL manager built in X3.
First you need to create the column on the screen through development > script dictionary.
In the 4GL script for the screen, you need to see which ACTION loads the lines. (Usually LIENS, LIEN_LIG, STYLE). In the ACTION for loading the lines, you need to link the table that contains the price by fulfilling the index requirement.
Then you would say:
field name on screen (nolign-1) = field on the database
affzo field name on screen (nolign-1)
I was going to use the following. I didnt want to alter the screen just in case. As our X3 can be sensitive. Also, another way I was thinking was SQL Management. Do you know what table this screen uses to begin with? I looked at the screen level and the inquiry the screen SEA and didnt see the table
yea you can do that... SQL query tool might be easier though if you know how to write in SQL.
Do you know what table would I use? I can not figure out what table this query is using.
stock? I cant tell without being in your system.
stock? I cant tell without being in your system.
The stock->Query->Location is same in all system. It should be pulling from the same tables. If you can tell me what you see on your end. I can compare it with mine. I checked The STOJOU, But didnt look like the table alone.
I do not remember where in SAGE X3 help or in KB is available description how a stock is evaluated in SAGE. Please search for it! After based on that info you will see from which tables you will be able to take values. Same time all tables involved in stock are very nicely shown in Stock Data model (in SAGE help - Technical help).
I was able to get the tables but I am getting the following error:
That error message means you did something wrong with the linking.. Data type is not the same as the linked data type
I was able to figure it out. Any idea how the average price can be pulled. I initially thought that the itmaster would have it but it does not.
