Hello,
Have you already followed below KB?
HTG - How to restrict users from seeing specific sites or companies?
Regards,
Hi Esfahani,
Thanks for the quick reply
Yes, followed those steps. Users cant edit the records which they haven't access to the facility but they are still able to see them!
They cant see any records that don't belong to their associated facilities.
What is the function you are working on?
Hi, thanks for the reply
It's a specific function (not standard)
Best Regards
Hello,
If it is a specific function, you have to define on the object the site fields (Look at SOH, it is SALFCY) :
And on the function, you have to define Autorization site :
After that you can set the function profil with a site and restrict.
If your function is not object, it working only whith Autorization site.
Hi friend,
Thanks for the reply...
I already have done those steps and it still aint working.
Any other solution?
Best Regards
You can try to run the site functions profile svalidation function (AVALAFC). Else I don't know.
Hi, we added authorization site on GESBPC standard function, and associated a specific SALFCY field on BPC object.
Access are ok but we can't update the SALFCY on customer, we have a standard error message "Modification not possible".
Do you already encountered this problem ? How resolve it ?
Thank you for your help.
Best regards
Hi,
your user have has rights on both sites?
Hi,
Yes And if I try to update with administrator account with all rights on sites, error message happens.
sorry, no trivial answer. You need to check how this specific field was build. The developper may have put specific code to protect the update. Check the script SPEBPC
Error message appears after activating site authorization on GESBPC, linked with the specific field SALFCY on BPC object.
Before this, modifcation of SALFCY was possible.
There is no specific code on SPEBPC for this field. So error message appears due to authorization site activation.
other possibility, administrator has all access codes by default, but not all row level permission, could you check the tab "Organisation" of your user?
The tab "organisation" is empty
Sorry, that's all I see without logging in
Ok, thank you for your help.
