I added a custom date field to a table in Sage X3 (OPPOR).
I have added the field to the table and class, I have also added the AM code to the SPE. After validation I enter a value in the field on the screen, when exiting the field, the value reverts back to a blank value. Any ideas why this does not work for date fields?

Made a quick test and it worked... Here is the step my step.
1) Created a field in OPPOR table with the name YDATET (D datatype).
2) Added the field to the OPPOR Class
3) Added the field to the screen (in my test I used OPP1)
4) Associated AM action to the field
5) Added this code in the SPEOPP source:
Subprog AM_YDATET(VALEUR)
Variable Date VALEUR
GZINSOPP.YDATET = VALEUR
Call RECOVERS_ERROR_IN_CLASSIC(GZINSOPP) From SUBOPPA
If GERR = 1 Then
GZINSOPP.YDATET = GZINSOPP.snapshot.YDATET
GERR = 1
mkstat = 2
End
Else
Call SHOW_OPPOR_HEADER() From SUBOPPA
Endif
End
As you can see in the print screens it worked...
