Excel Format In destination.

Hello ALL,

I created a report destination which is EXCEL and PDF but i exported a report using EXCEL format i created it didn't properly align on the EXCEL SHEET.

Please help me its Urgent.

    Hi Sammylie,

    Could you please provide more information? What version are you on? Can you post a screenshot of how your defined your destination? I have 3 Excel destinations with different Export formats.

    Also, if your report uses a lot of groupings, Excel will not be able to translate your columns properly. So when you are designing your report in Crystal, it is important to keep it as simple as possible.

    I guess it because i used grouping in my crystal report.

    Please find screen shot below.

    The one alighted is the one am currently using and it doesn't make the report to be properly align.

    Glad to hear that removing grouping in Crystal solved your issue. I would copy what you have and create two more excel options. We found that  Excel 97-2000 (extended) worked better and it is our default right now. However, my Excel1 destination uses Excel 97-2000 and Excel2 (workbook extended). Formatting can be pretty tricky, but workbook extended is used when you have too many lines and the first two formats throw errors.
