With Test of Patch (ToP) no longer working for standard elements with standard patches as of Patch 20 for V12, I started to think about how to manage Activity Coded standard elements in X3 when applying these new cumulative patches.

Test of Update does not seem to give the same results that ToP did, noting which elements were protected by X, Y, Z activity codes.

I know that I can run Activity code Searches to get lists of protected elements, and i can read the ReadMe's for each patch set to identify specific elements that were delivered, but I have concerns for other consultants / developers that will just take a cumulative patch set, install it... and end up with a mix of object, screen, window definitions in the end.

So, how is everyone else handling this, planning on handling this?    Has anyone heard any talking points from Sage on this subject?
