Access denied on pool

SOLVED

We have a user in X3 V12 that is set up to call web services.  This user is set up as a web services user, but is restricted to a single pool/endpoint.  The user has worked in the past, but has stopped working.  The error is "Access denied in pool XXX".  Does anybody know what is causing this?

    Have you seen this KB already? Could be due to badges available

    Resolution:

    • Sage Support was not able to duplicate this issue.
    • A reported case: The root cause was that the user assigned to the pool did not have any free badges.
    • A reported case: The resolution was to remove the pool user from multiple security roles, leaving only one role/group assigned to the user.
