We are looking for a way to make the ADC screens easier to read or just larger

The end user would like to be able to enlarge the screens on ADC to better fit the screen size and be large enough to read.

We can go in and edit the fonts and enlarge them but as soon as we change the screen or refresh the screen in any way it reverts to the defaults formats.

Does any one have a suggestion to change this?

Is there a bar code scanner where we can set the screen to enlarge it?

  • I believe you can manage this via the hand held scanner itself depending on the model.

    The customer has not been able to do this on his existing hand held.  He's competent and i believe he has not found a way.  Covid is preventing onsite visits so i can't assist.  We've tried several emulations with no luck.

    Can anyone suggest a model that might be able to handle this with Sage ADC and TELNET?

    I don't know your customers timeline, but my understanding is that the new ADC functionalities are coming out with 2021 R1 in a month or two.   Would it be worth trying to make the best of the current situation until that update comes out?

    Your PAM or CAM should be able to confirm this, or someone from Support... but the last time that I talked to Sage NA all of the "cool new stuff" that we were promised last March is due this quarter.

  • The screen sizing is controlled within X3 as are the normal screens. What are you using to run the ADC emulation. I usually use Velocity and within Velocity you can also set screen font sizes.

    Interesting.   I was not aware that there was an application to allow you to do this and run on Adnroid and Windows devices. Thank you.
